A planning application has been made to erect 205 homes on Standon Hill (often referred to as the Cafe Field).
This proposal was not brought forward through the Neighbourhood Plan process. The Steering Group has been carrying out extensive work throughout 2015 to identify and examine potential sites in the neighbourhood to accomodate the 150 homes that it has been proposed will need to be built in Standon & Puckeridge by 2032, taking into consideration the needs and view of all residents and businesses in the area.
This major application is made outside that process.
The Steering Group is reviewing this application in the context of the emerging Neighbourhood Plan and will share their views here. In the meantime, East Herts have invited comments by 26 November 2015 which can be submitted online https://publicaccess.eastherts.gov.uk
