Standon Parish in Hertfordshire consists of three parish wards of Standon, Puckeridge and Colliers End, which incorporate a number of outlying hamlets including Latchford, Barwick, Old Hall Green, Wellpond Green and Bromley. According to the 2011 census, that is 4,230 people living in 1,730 households.
Its principal villages, Puckeridge and Standon, lie 27 miles north of London, between the towns of Ware to the south and Buntingford to the north. Standon is recorded in the Domesday Book and contains some of the most important archaeological remains in Hertfordshire. It is also home to historic woodlands and areas of great landscape quality.
